. . . all of these are supafly. wunnerful posts. i had written a response this morning that included everything down to the first B&W landscape. had to put it on hold coz D needed to do some business & disaster...we lose power & my open page goes bye-bye along with everything else which makes me very not happy. gggrrrrr. i just love the "convenience" of electronic devices. right. enough whining. yes wunnerful wunnerful posts.
do you know who photographed that 1st B&W landscape? it's stunning. no exaggeration.

my 16 color treatment of an amateur photographRe : CATWOMAN earlier in the day during which the catwoman images were posted here i had done a search for images of Julie Newmar because she has a distinctive face. Julie Newmar was the Catwoman on the Batman TV series.
here is an OK slideshow from julienewmar.com :www.julienewmar.com/slideshow.swfi had an image of Julie at one time that sizzled. ima see can i find it.

. . .couldn't find the Newmar pic i wanted, but that's ok. found this base photo of Julie in which the composition was the best part, so i kept it & modified it to emphasize the composition. if you like geometric abstractions, you'll probably like this. if not, no biggee.

well. there's nothing in the thread description that says anything about pomes. juss pitchers. i don't doubt that pomes pop out of these pitchers. not like i made any rules. plenty of little haikus on that part of town...some of them probably were seeded here. post away if you want to Dr. Dirt, i won't fuss. nothing says you can't. i would like some of your art if you have some in your pocket next time you visit. i'll make you a deal. if you post a Dr. Dirt, i'll grow a pome from it & post it here. i try to be easy to get along with. right now 'Paxi & violet are throwing up so many brain busting images i wouldn't know where to start.

may as well have a Battle of the Catwomen...can't dance. Julie Newmar has always been a no-brainer for me. nobody even close. at all. when acting Julie had a way of looking simultaneously willing&ready and very unpredictable&dangerous. nobody else has ever duplicated that. i haven't seen it in stills either. in stills Julie seems to have two modes : lovely actress or shameless hedonist. weird.Halle Berry's Catwoman was one of the greatest and most blatant wastes of talent in film history. Berry is a fine actress. this film did not require an actress. all the producers wanted was a body. so Berry doesn't get to act and sleazes around for the 13 year old guys or whoever else watched this universally panned piece of trash. a real Catwoman film that dealt with a real Catwoman and depended on a top notch actress to be able to handle the part could have equaled 'dark knight'. but no. thanks for nothing, Hollywood. and Berry knows it. she hates the film & is not proud of it. it paid the bills & you can't fault her. rotten situation. what kind of Batman movie would it be it Batman wore a get-up designed solely to show skin & make women hot? instant lack of believability. instant. it's ludicrous. a freakin' crime. gggrrr.

halle can too act ... she writes me love letters twiced a week. sexist producers only know how to cast her body, so her film portfolio looks more like a centerfold. it's not her fault that in many of her films her acting is only required to reach levels that approximate living tissue. now hush up. don't make me have to find you. i'll tell Crys that you sexist. oh yeah. that'll fix you good. watch out.
