you know you can join right?
it's what you hafta do in order to view the main poetry forums;
these discussion areas are wide open, but that's not the case elsewhere... so...
REGISTER, already.
and dont let the afrocentric graphics/banners/smilies and things fool you,
we welcome all types of writers uppinherre regardless of background...
the "rules" -
we really dont have any...
post as often as you like in the appropriate forums
(tho replying IS encouraged - everybody likes to get a cookie every now and then)
critique is encouraged, but unless someone specifically says they're looking for
feedback, just give them some dap (you do know what dap is right?) and keep moving on...
and IF YOU DO ASK FOR FEEDBACK we dont wanna hear no crying from you
about it if it aint what you wanna hear... either comply OR stand up for your work
and defend yourself. a little debate is good for the soul. just because 'all the
critics love you in new york' dont mean shit around here - folks like what they like.
take it with a grain of salt... or sugar... ...but dammit you ARE gonna take it tho!
- for the record, critique doesnt necessarily hafta be nice... but you aint gotta
talk bad about nobody's mama when doing so... unless you critiquing one of
gitluv's poems, then thats understandable...
(thats a whole lotta talk for a site that aint got no rules aint it?)
anyway, we're more like family here to begin with...
and if it seems a little slow, then thats just the nature of us in the PROJX... folks here
respond on many other poetry sites where membership is more active.
if you want more activity then you gotta put in the work... nobody here wants
to be a moderator (slackers!) so the grass might definitely grow tall waiting
for someone to reply to your postings...
shooo, im wore out.
hope to see yall around,
peace.
- the management.
