My son came over for Christmas dinner. He handed me my present from him, a small flat package. As I started to open it, it dawned on me that it could only be a CD. Hmmmm....what artists would he know I liked....
Turns out, it was Josh Groban's new CD, "Awake." I had it already sitting in the CD palyer.
Guess he is figuring out where I'm coming from. I am not usually so quick to buy the music I like, except for three artists, Groban, Clay Aiken and the Dixie Chicks.
He offered to take it back and see if he could find something else. Interesting challenge. I did make a point of commenting on how well Lady Smith Black Mazambo and Groban worked together. Let's see if he gets the hint.

My son and I are not really much alike in any regard, including music. I think he gets Josh Groban only because he was so much involved with choir in high school. Other than that, I don't think there would be much the same in either of our CD collections.
Not really familiar with Amy Winehouse. What genre?
