ive had my son most of the summer... he jus turnt six last week. we've had crys' granddaughter too (also 6) - they are like an old married couple who love to hate each other when they are together... be runnin' the SHIT outta us. whoopings are reported to have been seen...
he's like the lovechild of mister rogers and condoleeza rice... on crack. and she's like the lovechild of 1980's era cyndi lauper and evel knievel... on speed. (with hints of steve urkel in him and shades of naomi campbell in her!)

. . . hey, nandi - i'm fine, hon. everything is ok. you are a tender heart. one of the finest things about the PROJX is that there are so many tender hearts. ah why mess around, i think that all of the PROJx people are tender hearted. showing a tender heart has nothing to do with having one. usually with guys you have to know where to look and you have to be patient and you have to stick with it because a guy is usually not going to be public about it. that's ok. things are the way they are. but i've been watching and waiting around here long enough to realize that every one of these hard case cats are tender hearted. even the hard case shorties. ;D it's a wonderful thing.

. . .yeah, nandi, i've heard nothing but good things about 'the black knight'. it got huge pre-release reviews & i had planned to catch the opening day matinee to avoid the throngs, but it didn't work out. i do look forward to seeing the film. it's very unusual for a franchise film to "get serious". everything i've heard and read so far indicates that is exactly what 'the black knight' did. Hollywood got something right? heads will roll.

im eh.
the "infamous tri-county rule" has been out in force lately... whole weeks full of slowdowns, drag-outs, blackouts, breakages, back-ups, rundowns, run-offs, ambulances, induced labors, planes, trains and automobiles...
aint summer vacation sposta have some um uh vacation in it? ...dang.
but i got all ten toes (the last i checked!), so this aint a complaint... justa ...comparison? spring vs. summer...

the dreaded TCR is the local subgenre of catch-22, usually involving the need for speed, long distances and 90 year old men driving 12 mph on a long stretch of backwoods lane - everytime we hafta be somewhair, there he is... hauling hay, tobacco, hosses, molasses, sumthnsumthnsumthn... turns the 15 minute drive thru 3 counties (either to lexington or frankfort) into a 30 exercise in extreme patience and/or spirituality. ooohmmm.

im feelin pretty damn good today... been a minute since the last time i was 'up'...
done went to a couple of art shows/art talk meetings and a few slam events... and all i hafta say is: WE SHOULD ALL BE RICH BY NOW! - or at least, 'known about'.
everyone of us has creative value and ive just heard about slam poets who have never written a single poem for print get book deals... whatever the venue, get out there and make yourself seen!
even if it isnt financially profitable, get out there and do yall's thang, because the creative landscape needs yall's help i swair to god!!!

Between grubbing for a living, then trying to do a bit of political posting, chasing down and disproving the usual BS that certain poitical parties like to throw on the net. Somehow, the poetry doesn't want to grow any bigger than a random image.
Now that I got some time and a new-born grandson, something has to happen.

yeah ive had no choice but to walk. its the only thing that brings me relief. i sit for a living... & well i enjoy laying quite a bit. both of which bring me extreme pain now. they also suggest i lay off the high heeled shoes. now that.. i refuse. i flat out refuse.
